Authentic Mexican restaurant that looks like it’s been in at that location for 20-30 years or more - the sign doesn’t even have an area code for the phone number. Service was prompt. Food was so good! Place is clean! For midday Saturday, the place was empty, so I hope they get more business!! Would definitely go back!
Caught my attention at red light.Stopped in and found a delightful resting stop . LMR has been around Austin almost 30 years .By the layout I’m guessing more than a few wedding receptions may have been held here . Owner waited on me and could not have been nicer .

This is a really old, classically styled Mexican restaurant with excellent Tex-Mex and a little bit of interior Mexico cuisine mixed in. Nothing fancy, just real real good. We met the owner while eating lunch and she was super nice. If you get a chance to check this place out and you love Mexican food, you won't regret it. Given the opportunity, I will DEFINITELY go back.
Loved this restaurant and their food. Menudo, fajita tacos, tamales and many more were very tasty. The waiters and waitresses looked and acted professional. The owner, Rosa made it a friendly atmosphere and kindly visited all customers. She and her staff really cared about their customers. My family made this place their #1 place to eat and joy with friends. Thank you Rosa and Louis for all you do to make this place a special place to go to.
Perfect little Mexican restaurant located in South Austin! Their food was delicious and the service was great. I got to try their protein plate and their bacon and egg breakfast taco - both entrees were so good! Their salsa was perfectly spicy, and had such a good flavor. Shoutout to Toni and the rest of the team there - very nice employees!
This place does not get the credit it deserves!! So yummy every time; the guys are always so nice and give great service. Check it out! I love the quesadilla
